Hillary quiz

Your score is 8 on a scale of 1 to 10. You are a devoted Hillary Krishna. You long to see the restoration of a Clintonian form of government with all of the liberal idealism and none of the fellatio.

"I think it was in the Rose Garden where I issued this brilliant statement: If I had a magic wand -- but the president doesn't have a magic wand. You just can't say, 'low gas.'" --George W. Bush, Washington D.C., July 15, 2008

Palin Halloween mask

Here's the hottest Halloween costume of the year - a mask of Republican vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin.

A latex mask of the Alaskan governor has been leading the popularity polls at an online fancy dress shop - outselling the likenesses of her political counterparts Barack Obama and John McCain.

The Sarah Palin mask has also been flying off the shelves quicker than traditional gruesome favourites Freddie Krueger and Michael Myers, a spokesperson for US based Halloween outfitters Costume Kingdom confirmed.

Tamir Nadborny said: "We have been inundated with requests for the Sarah Palin Halloween mask. It is proving to be much more popular than the Obama or McCain masks or anything else we do."

However if you wish to go to a Halloween party wearing a Sarah Palin mask it will cost you more.

Of all the political candidates, Palin's mask is the most costly retailing at US$29.95, in comparison to McCain and Obama both priced at US$15.95.

TOO busy to get ready for work in the morning?

I love staying in my pyjamas so this would suit me just fine! where do I buy them?

TOO busy to get ready for work in the morning? No need to rush that coffee ever again now that Dolce & Gabbana have come up with the city pyjama.

At their show pyjama bottoms and kimonos in slinky satin in shades from sludgy wine dregs and navy to champagne rubbed shoulders with smart city tailored suits and jackets and frivolous lacy skirts.

Don the correct attire before you go to sleep and you need give it no further thought when you get up in the morning.

For the daring, they even suggested a total look of pyjama suit accessorised with high heels and statement handbag.

Abbey Medieval Tournament

The 19th Abbey Medieval Festival held on the 12th and 13th July 2008 was a great success.

The rain held off until the last few minutes of the event, but cloudy skies on Sunday possibly deterred some prospective patrons.

Approximately 22,000 people attended the week-long festival, including the free Childrens day, workshops and performances. Around 18,895 people (including re-enactors, performers, volunteers and public came to the two day Tournament on Saturday and Sunday.
